I can’t say I enjoy going to FCC. But I can say that having blood drawn by Daphne is a pleasure. Sounds crazy but everyone has a hard time drawing blood from me but whenever I have her it’s a great day for me! She is awesome and great personality also!

The operation at the Cross Creek facility operates efficiently and effectively every time I’m there for treatment or counsel. Dr. Zafar was timely and entered the room about one minute after i was show into it. He had read all updates regarding ither Doctors involved in my treatment. We jointly rejoiced about the report from a week earliers results of a scoping by Dr. Salami reporting there is no sign if any cancer! Meeting with Dr Zafar is affirming as he’s very astute about treatments and can (and will) answer any questions one may have. Kind, considerate and friendly - all of his professional supporting staff, PA Johnny, as is all the staff at the Commerce Creek FCSpecialist facility from checking in to labs to port access and the infusion i receive from the best oncology nursing people possible. Treatment went off without a hitch and I was merrily in my way.

FCS has been saving me since 2007! I’d go no where else!!

My tech for echo Michelle Murphy I will never forget. She was so gentle when pushing on my rib cage or breast bone I had explained to her like I do other techs how sensitive my bones are due to auto immune issues. When I asked questions she was so informative in terms I could understand. I would say this was the best echo I have ever had and believe me I have had many. I left comfortable with a smile on my face. God bless Michelle Murphy! ❤️

Medical techs who take vitals and ask extremely personal questions about a patient’s emotional health could literally not be more bored and uninterested in your amswers. Except when they are annoyed, It’s an either or situation. Either bored and uninterested or annoyed.

Johnny (Dr Zafar’s NP is wonderful. He is very patient and always answers all of my questions. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with Johnny.

Melissa and Donna (port nurses) are exceptional. It’s always a pleasure to sit and chat with them. My port can be difficult at times to draw blood but both of them are patient and gentle and always get results. Sometimes it takes a long time to get my port to give blood, Both of them remain positive and encouraging until the result is achieved. In fact, all of the nurses are exceptional at the commerce Creek location. Nothing but positive experiences the entire time I was going through chemo.

Dr Zafar, I didn’t see yesterday, but would like to say is always professional and thorough. Its not just my opinion. Other doctors I’ve spoken with him hold him in very high esteem.

Treatments went very smooth at Florida cancer
As far as the Oncologist, the absolute worst experiences I’ve ever had. I had Dr. McCleod at First who refused to see me until I had a biopsy done by my pulmonologist, but to make things worse. My pulmonologist refused to do the biopsy until Dr. McCleod would see me needless to say I had to get new doctors then I end up with a doctor Zafar oncologist at Florida cancer, My last visit I was told that I qualify for a clinical trial locally end with Moffatt. Dr. zafar was supposed to keep in contact with Dr. Saltos at Moffatt that I would be waiting for a spot in one of these trials. That was on Monday on Tuesday morning I got a phone call from one of Dr. zafar‘s peeps that I don’t qualify for this trial. I qualified on Monday and I don’t qualify on Tuesday and if I want, I can call Moffatt myself that he is leaving for vacation for a few weeks so needless to say the doctors there I wouldn’t give a time of day, he left me high and dry. I am at my wits end trying to find out where this clinical trial is and whether or not I qualify to participate on my own.

Everything went without a hitch. Dr Zafar is the best oncologist I know of in the area. Doctor really cares. He is sensitive, honest and very calming. He's hypervigilant and has excellent skills when dealing with patients and cancer.
